FIJET Slovakia 6th Edition of the Photo Exhibition<\/em> opened its doors on 20th June 2024, at Balnea Esplanade Hotel-Spa Island in Pie\u0161\u0165any and will run until the end of August 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It presented photos from the countries: Austria, Croatia, Hungary, India, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The theme of the Photo Exhibition was Hans Christian Andersen’s “Travel is to live”<\/em>. The curator of the exhibition and chairperson of the international jury, PhDr. Mari\u00e1n Pauer, ESFIAP, along with his team, selected 60 photos by 16 journalist-authors representing 9 countries. 28 photos are currently displayed at the Photo Exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Photo Exhibition was organized as part of the FIJET Young Journalist Academy Program, held in Slovakia from June 16 to 22, 2024. Young journalists enjoyed a wide range of experiences in this region, particularly the charm of the Little Danube in Tom\u00e1\u0161ikovo with its wooden water mill from 1895, carriage rides, medical therapy with horses, and more. It was an enriching experience for the young journalists, highlighting the value and benefits of practical excellence. All participants received certificates of participation or completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
